Requirements

A valid class A commercial driver’s license
Current 40-hour HAZWOPER Training or ability to pass course upon hire
Ability to use heavy and light equipment, such as tanker, vacuum truck, forklift, and pallet-jack
Skilled using hand and shop tools, and instruments
Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
Must be able to prioritize, stay focused, and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities
HazMat endorsement preferred

Responsibilities

Operates light and heavy equipment, including: tanker, roll-off, liquid and turbo vacuums, box trucks, tractor trailers, skid steer, forklift, pumps, and pallet-jack
Responds to customer spills and emergencies during normal business hours and after hours
Performs pre-trip and post-trip Department of Transportation inspections
Maintains vehicle logs
Performs general housekeeping, including maintenance of equipment and site
Performs Less-than-truckload (LTL) pickups and full truck loads
Maintains company equipment
Ensures customer satisfaction
Maintains documentation of manifests and work orders
Processes hazardous and non-hazardous materials as needed
Assists in maintaining good housekeeping at the facility and on grounds
Functions as a technician on lab pack, field service projects, and Industrial Service field projects
Performs other related duties as assigned
