Current 40-hour HAZWOPER Training or ability to pass course upon hire
Ability to use heavy and light equipment, such as tanker, vacuum truck, forklift, and pallet-jack
Skilled using hand and shop tools, and instruments
Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize, stay focused, and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities
Responsibilities
Operate light and heavy equipment relating to clean-up, including tanker, roll-off, liquid and turbo vacuums, box trucks, tractor trailers, skid steer, forklift, pumps, and pallet-jack
Respond to customer spills and emergencies during normal business hours and after hours
Perform pre-trip and post-trip Department of Transportation inspections
Maintain vehicle logs
Perform general housekeeping, including maintenance of equipment and site
Perform Less-than-truckload (LTL) pickups and full truck loads
Maintain company equipment
Ensure customer satisfaction
Maintain documentation of manifests and work orders
Process hazardous and non-hazardous materials as needed
Assist in maintaining good housekeeping at facility and on grounds
Function as technician on lab pack, field service projects, and Industrial Service field projects
Perform other related duties as assigned
Properly transport various waste streams at generator sites
Perform operational functions relating to clean-up of industrial waste in a safe, efficient manner and in compliance with regulations
Perform operational functions relating to emergency response hazardous and non-hazardous spill clean-up projects in a safe, compliant manner
Operate trucks to perform pickups of bulk and containerized hazardous and non-hazardous wastes
Perform a variety of duties that comply with government regulations and procedures
