A Class A Commercial Driver’s license with hazardous material and tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain within 90 days) is required, along with knowledge of electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and compressor systems, pumps, motors, motor controls, instrumentation, metal fabrication, and skill in using hand and shop tools.
Strong candidates demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities, plus a clear understanding of HAZMAT regulations, placarding, load securement, state weight limits, and experience operating various trucks.
