Responsibilities

  • Perform various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
  • During a time-sensitive schedule, follow a specific pull sheet and work as part of a team to transfer chicks from hatchers to separator room via a dolly (involves walking on wet/slippery cement floors, working in hot, humid, dusty environments, pushing stacks of chicks in baskets on a dolly)
  • Set up equipment and work area
  • Perform sanitation duties, including wearing PPE and working with sanitation equipment and products to clean hatchery equipment and work areas after production
