Responsibilities

  • Hang live birds in shackles by grasping chickens first by one leg and then the other, positioning breast side away, and hanging by both legs
  • Rotate positions from front to back
  • Place any dead-on-arrival (DOA) birds into the DOA barrel at the end of the conveyor
  • Maintain excellent attendance to earn up to $6 per hour incentive
