Requirements

  • Ability to summarize critical issues with resolutions and communicate to leadership
  • Basic knowledge of Global Enterprise Production Information Control System (GEPICS) to run reports, hold or set-out/set-in jobs, adjust breakpoints, update broadcast codes
  • Strong knowledge of Material Global Optimization (MGO) – inventory and scheduling screens
  • Knowledge of other supply chain systems – Production Pull System (PPS), Electronic Pull System (EPS), Visual & Buffer Inventory Management System (VBIMS)
  • Ability to be flexible and at times work extended and non-core hours to ensure issues are worked to resolution
  • Availability to work on and support off-shifts, including a portion of 2nd and 3rd shift

Responsibilities

  • Understand and assess complex supply chain issues and lead teams in a cross-functional environment to successfully resolve issues minimizing impacts to vehicle production (supporting 2nd and 3rd shift)
  • Execute deliverables in support of the supply chain organization's business objectives
  • Communicate to all levels of organization, within supply chain, as well as other functions within the plant, and externally with 3rd party partners, suppliers, and carriers
  • Oversee Ryder team on off-shifts for managing inbound material – supplier shortages, carrier issues, premium transportation approvals - escalation of exceptions as required
  • Assess supplier schedules and impact on vehicle assembly production
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop creative solutions
  • Support Command Center calls for supplier shortages
  • Analyze metrics supporting supplier critical issues or sufficiency plan resolution
  • Perform various Material Flow Coordinator (MFC) roles – inventory and data integrity, problem solving/investigation
  • Oversee 3rd party/VAA activities on off-shifts
  • Oversee Engineering change/breakpoint planning/execution on off-shifts
