Grafana Labs - Growth Engineer

This is a fully remote position, and we are seeking candidates located in the American timezones, ideally on the East Coast.

The Opportunity

As a Growth Engineer, you will partner with our Growth team to drive the adoption of Grafana Cloud. You will be part of a growing team hyper-focused on our self-service go-to-market strategy, covering the entire user journey: acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization. Reporting to the Self-Serve Growth team, your projects will aim to reduce the barrier to entry for users interested in observability and to create an experience that is easy to use and understand.

Responsibilities

• Develop, release, and maintain Grafana plugins using TypeScript and React.js.
• Ideate, design, and develop A/B and multivariate tests to drive business outcomes.
• Develop and maintain accurate product data flows across the full stack.
• Collaborate with design, analytics, and other product teams to improve user outcomes.
• Partner with upstream engineering teams to safely and reliably deliver value to our customers.
• Take an active role in influencing our roadmap and your own career objectives.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in on-platform growth and experimentation.
• Expertise with single-page applications connecting to REST/API services.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, ES6+, and modern CSS.
• Strong data-driven approach, while also being open to qualitative feedback.
• Excellent writing and presentation skills.
• Genuine interest in driving business outcomes through product development cycles at scale.
• Familiarity with applying a growth mindset to various aspects of your career and work.
• Excellent product management skills, including spec writing, mockups, and data analysis.
• Some experience delivering projects from requirements gathering and brainstorming to shipping a product to customers in a self-driven manner.

Bonus Points For

• Experience with the LGTM stack.
• Experience with Big Query / Rudderstack.
• Experience with any state management library connecting with React.js.
• Prior SRE experience or market focus.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Compensation (United Kingdom example): £70,075 - £84,090. Actual compensation will depend on level, experience, and skillset assessed during the interview process.
• Restricted Stock Units (RSUs): All roles include RSUs, providing every team member ownership in Grafana Labs' success and aligning our team as we scale globally.
