Requirements

  • 5 years of related experience
  • B.S.E in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Maximo as used for Preventive maintenance, planning and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of autonomy in a complex environment, managing multiple projects by establishing priorities and deliverables with minimal supervision
  • Experience with equipment used in Emissions Development and Certification testing (Building and Process)
  • Experience utilizing building management systems for diagnostics

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the single point contact to internal and external stakeholders for Engineering Maintenance and Technical support related activities, including day-to-day operations and future planning initiatives
  • Manage team workload, help estimate timing, set priorities, and balance tasks across the team based on skillset while finding opportunities to expand capability amongst the team
  • Monitor ongoing tasks, providing regular status reports to stakeholders and leadership while proactively identifying and escalating roadblocks when appropriate
  • Lead and support projects that specify, source, engineer, integrate, install, and commission new test equipment
  • Understand and oversee capital and maintenance indirect expenses including forecasting and tracking spending
  • Function as a subject matter expert in the G-Risk, G-Comply, Management of Change, and Contractor Safety Management processes pertaining to facility infrastructure supporting test activities
  • Act as a technical resource to internal and supplier teams in all aspects of Engineering Maintenance and Technical Support
  • Ability to create, launch, and manage a preventative equipment maintenance system and related plans for key facility infrastructure supporting testing activities
  • Maintain awareness of the latest test equipment and technology, including commissioning, safe operating procedures, and maintenance requirements
  • Maintain awareness of the product forecast within the broader Product Development community. Planning for the future as it relates to test equipment and related methods to ensure future products can be tested safely, on-time, and with quality
  • As needed, represent the laboratories within the broader Product Development community
  • Perform official people leader functions including training, coaching, performance feedback, and staffing
