Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and hold a CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification. They must have at least eight years of progressive accounting experience, including demonstrated leadership roles within an international environment, and a solid understanding of accounting standards and internal controls.
The Group Head of Accounting will lead and manage the global accounting function across multiple jurisdictions, overseeing all accounting areas including general ledger, intercompany, and fixed assets, while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. They will manage the bank payments process, oversee intercompany elimination and consolidation, drive the month-end and year-end close processes, liaise with auditors, and support strategic initiatives and transactions. Furthermore, they will build and lead a high-performing international accounting team, fostering development and engagement, and own the documentation of accounting processes and controls.
