Requirements

Candidates must be ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or ICAEW qualified with proven experience in preparing and signing off management accounts for multi-entity structures, including intercompany reconciliations and consolidation logic. A strong track record in multi-entity accounting, SPV audits, and a solid understanding of VAT in financial services and revenue waterfall logic are essential. Excellent communication skills for collaboration with various teams and stakeholders, along with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach to owning financial data end-to-end, are also required.

Responsibilities

The Group Financial Controller will lead accounting, cash operations, and financial controls for the SAPI Group, its SPVs, and capital provider interfaces. This role involves owning month-end and year-end closes, management accounts, and audit processes for multiple entities, ensuring SPV accounting accuracy, and overseeing daily cash operations and funding flow reconciliations. The controller will also manage funder reporting, collaborate with Product & Tech teams for reporting automation, handle VAT strategy and cross-border compliance, and support the Vietnam finance team.
