Requirements

  • Deep expertise in executive compensation strategy, pay equity, and regulatory compliance
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and engage with senior leadership or board committees
  • High degree of financial and business acumen, strong analytical skills in data analysis, benchmarking, and program evaluation
  • Proven executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
  • In-depth understanding of incentive design and management
  • Experience developing and presenting materials for board-level decision making
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10 years in total rewards/compensation design (executive compensation experience preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and governance of executive compensation programs, including annual and long-term incentives for officers and directors
  • In collaboration with the SVP of Total Rewards, advise the Compensation and Management Development Committee (CMDC) on pay structures, incentive plans, and management development
  • Champion enterprise-wide pay equity and transparency initiatives, ensuring compliance with global standards and legal requirements
  • Conduct sensitivity analyses and performance scenario modeling to ensure executive compensation programs maintain a strong link between pay and performance, while staying competitive and compliant with market trends
  • Monitor and assess external trends and best practices in executive compensation and incentive design to support organizational goals for attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent
  • Collaborate across Rewards and People teams to implement efficient processes for managing pay and incentives, including partnering with Total Rewards operations for run-the-business executive compensation activities and working effectively with external vendors and consultants
  • Prepare and coordinate materials for the CMDC and Board of Directors (BOD), covering annual awards, long-term incentives, proxy statements, executive benefits/perquisites, disclosures, and reward statements, while fostering collaboration both within and outside the discipline
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and optimize compensation frameworks that support organizational objectives
  • Act as source of contact for Chief People Officers and executives
