Requirements

  • Previous hands-on experience in graphic and pre-press production
  • Proficient in color management, understanding principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Deep knowledge of printing processes and their limitations
  • Understanding of ICC profiles, printing tool making, and color transformations
  • Hands-on experience in artwork file breakdown into sub-components, Preflight, trapping, bleed, and other process-specific print-ready file requirements
  • Understanding of spot colors and usage in prepress applications (including PantoneLive processes)
  • Munsell Test score of ‘Average Discrimination’ minimum, ‘Superior Discrimination’ preferred
  • Fluency in Graphic and Pre-Press Design Tools: Proficient in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe InDesign
  • Knowledge of GMG Colorproof, OpenColor, Colorserver, and/or other prepress tools
  • Strong understanding of brand architecture, design language/identity systems, equity assets, and application of design principles to achieve visual consistency
  • Ability to quickly assess design concepts
  • Ability to adapt and apply design intent across variants, diverse product forms, substrates, and various print processes through the approval process for representative artworks
  • Strong knowledge of design principles, brand identity, and design standards/guidelines
  • Extensive knowledge of industry-standard pre-press and printing processes, materials, substrates, and artwork file specifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

  • Achieve target Design Intent Production critical metrics, including Artwork on Design Intent, On-Time Production, Qualitative In-Market Complaints, and Quality Incident Rate
  • Execute Design Intent Graphics Adaptation and Digital Templates with excellence, being responsible for the mapping, creation, and approval processes in the Assembly Automation Tool (Veraciti)
  • Conduct incoming and outgoing Quality Control of Final Artworks and ensure adherence to regulatory style guides and corporate standards
  • Own the multi-functional approval workflow for Digital Templates
  • Lead and govern the asset library effectively
  • Analyze, convert, correct, and prepare Artwork/design files to ensure they are suitable for the intended printing process
  • Collaborate with Design and Brand teams to adapt and produce graphic assets in-house
  • Troubleshoot and resolve file-related problems
  • Create, run, and maintain a database of printer specifications
  • Oversee packaging artworks for Europe markets
  • Collaborate with Design and various internal teams to execute Design Templates into compliant final artwork fit-for-use for printing
  • Manage the Asset Library, produce Digital Templates, and lead Graphic Adaptations that uphold Brand Equity and adhere to hard and soft point guidelines
  • Prepare, control, pre-flight, and process design template files, making necessary adjustments to ensure delivery of print-ready digital files suitable for flexography, digital, offset, and gravure printing
  • Ensure execution meets established quality standards and consistent visualization across product forms and variants at the First Moment of Truth (FMOT)
