Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Active PGA of America Class A or LPGA member in good standing
  • 3+ years of knowledge of club-fitting through experience and/or OEM training
  • PGA of America Class A or LPGA Member in good standing, Apprentice Level 1, 2, or 3 (or interested in becoming a PGA/LPGA Member through the PGA/LPGA Associate Program)
  • Trackman Level 1 & 2 certification
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for golf equipment and related technology
  • Desire for continued learning (self)

Responsibilities

  • Builds student base by creating safe environments for all golfers and providing high-quality instruction
  • Establishes long-lasting relationships with each student
  • Identifies student strengths and weaknesses of their swing/game and understands their lesson goals
  • Acts as a Trusted Advisor to students
  • Seeks out information and opportunities to develop self as a better teacher
  • Directs teaching concepts toward student understanding and adjusts teaching style accordingly
  • Continuously looks for new and creative ways to build a robust student base and meet/exceed financial and metric goals
  • Is directly involved in community outreach by partnering with local organizations to teach, support, and spread awareness of the Golf Galaxy experience
  • Collaborates with Certified Fitters and teammates to enhance the Trusted Advisor experience
