Requirements

  • End-to-end business experience with a proven track record of managing all aspects of a business, including P&L oversight, operations, marketing, and strategic planning
  • Marketplace expertise with a deep understanding of the Canadian marketplace, experience in navigating tariff impacts, and dependencies on the US market (strong plus)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the P&L in Canada
  • Lead local market strategy, performance, and operations
  • Develop and execute a robust market strategy that aligns with eBay's global objectives to ensure efficiency and effectiveness across all business aspects
  • Establish eBay locally as a trusted marketplace by fostering trust and competitiveness among Canadian consumers and sellers, enhancing eBay's reputation as a preferred marketplace
  • Advocate the voice of the customer
  • Represent eBay in external meetings (media, industry bodies, government bodies)
  • Drive the people and culture at the site by cultivating a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment that reflects eBay’s values and supports team growth
  • Provide cross-functional ownership and support by collaborating with HR, Finance, Legal, and other departments
