  • Fluency in the differences between social media platforms, audiences, cultures, and sub-cultures, and how to exist in each
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, balanced with the ability to work autonomously
  • Desire to be a “maker” of things, with a strong sense of ownership and passion about creative work
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify and break down barriers
  • Ability to build strong relationships between teams across different disciplines and time zones
  • Strong POV as a leader in a team of other creators, strategists, and mission-driven creatives
  • Positioning as a thought leader within the entire global organization
  • Chronically online with deep knowledge of social media trends, memes, and internet culture (e.g., provide oral histories of obscure memes)
  • Regularly write, design, shoot, edit, and post own content on social
  • Currently reside in the NY Tri-State area
  • Ability to work hybrid (minimum 3 days per week on-site in Manhattan - Union Square) and during overlapping time zones with France

Responsibilities

  • Join Back Market’s In-House Creative Studio to grow the global brand via social channels
  • Create world-class content, taking ideas from briefs, insights, product launches, or opportunities to fully-executed pieces, hands-on with tools
  • Serve as key marketing leader and thought-leader in social media, visual creativity, brand storytelling, and cultural trends
  • Provide insights on upcoming trends, rising conversations, and untapped cultural opportunities to influence the business
  • Collaborate with international team including writers, art directors, social media professionals, producers, and non-marketing partners across the global organization
