Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced technical degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in product management, engineering, operational or commercial roles within the energy sector
  • Strong technical knowledge of packer systems and completions technologies
  • Knowledge of market research and competitive analysis
  • Business acumen and understanding of market dynamics
  • Willingness to travel (>25%)

Responsibilities

  • Being accountable for the functional, business, and financial performance of the product(s)
  • Serving as the product's advocate both internally and externally; conducts product demonstrations, presentations, and training for stakeholders, customers, and partners
  • Developing a product strategy and vision based on market research, customer feedback, and product line goals
  • Working across the organization to validate the S&OP forecast and identify products for special supply chain strategies; works with supply chain to identify opportunities for cost reduction and optimization
  • Conducting thorough market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, customer needs, and opportunities for product innovation
  • Defining the product roadmap and prioritizing features and enhancements
  • Driving portfolio simplification and standardization to improve operational efficiency and reduce complexity
  • Owning the PDM (Product Development Management) process; collaborating with cross-functional teams (Engineering & Technology, supply chain, Service Delivery, etc.) and participating in Stage Gates
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices; aligning and leveraging total supplier base to influence product line and market strategy
  • Planning and executing successful product launches, including pricing strategies, market positioning, and marketing/communication plans; ensuring technology advancements are validated with customers and regulatory agencies
  • Being responsible for the product life cycle and product performance; monitoring NPR/NPI performance
  • Leading initiatives that combine product development and process improvement activities
  • Providing technical support to Service Delivery teams for specific escalation requests
  • Being responsible for leading initiatives and associated technologies to drive carbon footprint reduction
  • Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes Health Safety and Environmental policies, Legal Compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values
