Candidates should have a minimum of 7 years of experience managing and administering a full payroll offering in the United States, including processing and oversight. A strong knowledge of payroll legislation in multiple states, working knowledge of tax and statutory deductions, and experience managing local vendor relationships are required. Familiarity with year-end processes and procedures for different states, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, are essential. The role requires flexibility to work varied hours to collaborate with global teams across multiple time zones.
The Global Payroll Manager will manage and oversee payroll processing across U.S. and international locations, ensuring accurate and seamless execution. This includes managing payroll vendors, responding to employee payroll queries, processing employee status changes in HRIS and payroll systems, and reviewing payroll reports for accuracy. Responsibilities also involve ensuring compliance with global payroll regulations, maintaining secure internal controls, optimizing payroll processes for efficiency and employee experience, and compiling data for quarterly and year-end processing. The role requires collaboration with Finance and People Operations teams, supporting audit requests, and ensuring timely submission of payroll taxes and social security contributions.
