Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3+ years of relevant financial operations experience, preferably in Trade / Custody Operations
  • Progression toward advanced degrees and/or professional certifications is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the Trade Operations environment and market settlement practices strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of being organized, professional, and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously within a tight timeframe
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills that implement process solutions
  • Exposure to or basic understanding of Fund Accounting or Pricing preferred
  • Solid understanding with Invest One, trade support models and ability to understand different trade flows
  • Solid understanding of Excel, Word, and Power Point
  • SQL or VBA knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

  • Supervising trade instruction and delivery to custodian banks
  • Facilitating the accurate and timely delivery of critical business information to all interested parties
  • Providing trade Support and processing for multiple different asset types (Equity, Fixed Income and many derivative products, including Swaps, Options, Futures)
  • Bringing failed trades to a resolution by communicating with External Managers and Custodian Banks
  • Collaborating within the team environment to optimally handle daily work volumes and quality standards
  • Identifying and resolving problems related to transactions or investment data in an appropriate fashion following established guidelines
