Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in EHS, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in EHSS roles, preferably in manufacturing or automotive
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, and global EHS regulations
  • Experience with industrial hygiene, product compliance, and sustainability metrics
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and project management skills
  • Fluent in English; additional languages preferred
  • Willingness to travel internationally
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or professional certifications (CIH, CSP, LEED, etc.)
  • Experience with ESG frameworks (GRI, CDP, SASB)
  • Familiarity with Aptiv’s EHS Operating System and metrics

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a technical expert in EHSS topics including ISO systems, risk assessments, industrial hygiene, product stewardship, and sustainability
  • Support global teams in implementing EHSS programs, standards, and compliance requirements
  • Lead or contribute to initiatives in carbon reduction, water and energy efficiency, and ESG reporting
  • Conduct or support audits, incident investigations, and regulatory assessments
  • Provide guidance on chemical management, PPE, confined spaces, ergonomics, and high-risk work
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, supply chain) to integrate EHSS into business processes
  • Monitor and interpret global regulatory changes and emerging risks
  • Support training, awareness, and capability-building across regions
