Current student status pursuing a degree in GIS, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university
Minimum 2.5 GPA (3.0 GPA preferred)
Knowledge and/or use of Esri ArcGIS Pro highly preferred
Exceptional with Microsoft Office applications (proficient in Microsoft Office Suite)
Willing to engage and learn real estate in addition to GIS
Able to identify, work through, and make decisions with incomplete information
Solid part-time work history preferred
Work effectively as part of a team
Demonstrate creative problem solving and proactive learning, with good analytical, management, communication, and human relations skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to articulate clearly
Ability to perform multiple tasks within given time constraints with little to no oversight
Responsibilities
Mapping Ameren's property rights ("interests") in ArcGIS Pro and delivering those mapped interests to Ameren Real Estate's GIS Technician
Providing some level of analysis of Ameren's interests or utilizing GIS tools to identify property rights for members of the Real Estate Department
Trained to use Ameren Real Estate's database to locate interests
Trained to understand legal documents pertaining to Real Estate
Trained to read legal descriptions
Trained to map interests in ArcGIS Pro
Reviewing GIS data for Quality Control and Quality Assurance purposes
Visiting sites in field to collect data and verify Ameren records
Interacting with Ameren contractors to evaluate/confirm the validity of data provided to Ameren
Documenting work practices utilized to gather, evaluate and record GIS data
