Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire: Manage and develop a team of about 12 localization coordinators, each handling operations for a specific language and regional partners
  • Manage daily operations: Provide operational leadership across all aspects of localization coordination, ensuring operational excellence, empowerment, and cross-team coordination
  • Contribute to complex projects: Identify gaps and opportunities in large-scale projects involving development, publishing, engineering, quality assurance, and external partners, and propose and implement solutions
  • Optimize the function: Define objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs), and feedback systems to build a high-performing, proactive team in a dynamic environment
  • Shape processes: Collaborate with production, engineering, quality assurance, and publishing leads to streamline workflows, tools, and game localization readiness
  • Improve systems: Identify and implement significant improvements to processes, systems, and team practices to optimize quality, speed, and scalability
  • Represent and advocate for the team: Act as the team's spokesperson; manage language-specific localization efforts for North American game development teams, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution
  • Promote best practices: Contribute to departmental strategies on automation, vendor collaboration, certification tracking, and internationalization preparation
  • Long-term vision: Support long-term planning and talent development as global localization evolves and expands
