Responsibilities
Manage the ongoing day-to-day operations of the store while adhering to company policies and procedures
Direct supervision of staff
Maximize store profits and ensure a high level of customer service and store appearance
Maximize store profitability through managing all controllable expenses, optimizing all revenue streams, and leading and developing a high performing team
Ensure guest and associate satisfaction, exceed brand standards, and manage the store’s profitability
Select, develop, and effectively lead a highly engaged team
Cultivate a positive shopping experience for all guests; respond to customer complaints or inquiries; solicit customer feedback and create plans to meet expectations
Staff the store appropriately for 24/7 business demands; proactively identify hiring needs; interview candidates and make final hiring decisions with the management team
Allocate resources, prioritize, delegate work, and manage time through efficient scheduling and usage of labor hours
Allocate resources for effective training execution; validate associate training for safety, effectiveness, and customer service; conduct management training and monitor associate proficiency
Create and sustain an inclusive store atmosphere by understanding team diversity, encouraging mutual respect, and promoting a productive, engaged environment
Value store associates through celebration and recognition
Support the development of associates and store management teams through talent management processes (e.g., performance management, development plans, career conversations, and development opportunities)
