Requirements

  • Willing and able to perform entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
  • Willing to work in any department such as Flour or Corn
  • Able to stack tacos and tortillas off a production line, place bags of product in a box, make boxes, and maintain good housekeeping
  • Able to take and pass various tests regarding safety and food safety practices
  • Available to work overtime and weekends
  • Able to work all shifts (1st: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 2nd: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM, 3rd: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
  • Able to lift 20lbs occasionally and hold 5lbs regularly
  • Willing to be exposed to warm temperatures (65-90 degrees), wet/humid conditions, slippery and concrete floors
  • Able to walk and stand for 8-10 hours per day
  • Able to bend, crouch, and stoop throughout the day
  • Able to work with both hands and arms simultaneously throughout the day
  • Able to use hands and fingers to grasp and pull
  • Able to perform repetitive motion of shoulders, arms, and hands (up to 50 repetitions per minute)
  • Willing to be exposed to airborne particles (primarily flour dust) and loud noise requiring hearing protection
