Requirements

  • Be able to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions
  • Must be willing to work in damp, cold or hot environments and reach above shoulder level
  • Be able to stand 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces
  • Able to perform repetitive motion
  • Must be able to climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas
  • Must wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard
  • Must pass drug screening
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Team members interested in transferring into this position from another Tyson facility should express interest through their local HR Partner
  • Rehire Consideration: 180 day waiting period. Max of two previous Tyson employments to be considered for hire

The position is 2nd shift, working Monday through Thursday from 3:45 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., and Friday from 3:45 p.m. until finished. It is based in Carthage, TX.
