Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, a current driver's license in good standing, and meet the Company Safe Vehicular Operations Policy driving records standards. They should have at least 1-3 years of relevant work experience, proficiency in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, flooring, or appliances, and basic familiarity with computers and web-based applications. Additionally, candidates must be able to read and write in English and demonstrate the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work.
The General Maintenance Technician will respond to service calls related to residential maintenance, complete repairs as directed, transport and install appliances, repair and fabricate screens and frames, remove damaged materials, and respond to on-call emergency repairs. They will also maintain vehicle inventory, update work order status, keep supervisors informed of activities, and work cooperatively with customers, staff, and the public while attending relevant trainings and workshops.
