Requirements

  • Willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, carry 40lbs or more (for some positions)
  • Willing to work in extreme hot, wet, or extreme cold environments
  • Willing to use hands and arms above shoulder level and stand 8-10 hours per day
  • For Processing positions: Ability to use knife and hook to bone out or trim large pieces of product, or use powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines
  • For Harvest positions: Ability to use knife and hook to remove hide from cattle, trim large pieces of meat, or run heavy pieces of equipment
  • Available to work A or B shift, up to 6 days a week (Monday through Saturday)
  • Provide proof of authorization to work legally in the United States
  • Pass urinalysis screening (part of post-offer health assessment)
  • For previous Tyson employees (effective 01-02-2025): Meet 180-day rehire waiting period and 3-time rehire limit
