Requirements

  • Ability to push, pull, carry, and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to stand 8-10 hours a day
  • Willingness to work in meat environments (blood, fat, bones, hair, and other meat/cattle products)
  • Ability to use knives, hooks, and powered equipment (saws, whizard knives, skinner machines, air knives)
  • Ability to perform tasks in extreme cold and wet environments (33-49 degrees in Processing) or extreme hot, wet, and humid environments (80-100 degrees in Harvest)
  • Availability for A Shift: 5:30am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday including Saturdays, and overtime
  • Authorization to work legally in the United States (proof required)
  • Ability to pass urinalysis screening (post-offer health assessment)
  • Willingness to complete all required training

Responsibilities

  • Work in any position in the Processing department (boning/trimming product with knife/hook, using powered equipment, packaging/bagging/boxing product)
  • Work in any position in the Harvest department (removing hide from cattle with knife/hook, trimming product, using powered equipment, operating heavy equipment)
  • Perform any other duties as assigned
