Requirements

Technically proficient with PCs and gaming consoles
Computer literacy, specifically MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and database software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to prioritize and schedule demands in an often-fluid environment
Able to take initiative and be proactive rather than reactive, as well as think and adjust quickly on a regular basis
Not afraid to speak your mind and willing to share your opinions and ideas, including backing them up as needed
An NBA fan who is familiar with the sport, the players, and the history
Passionate about video games (not just ours!), and familiar with the NBA 2K series and how it has evolved over the years
Previous game development or testing experience a plus, but not required
Someone looking to move forward in the game industry as a designer, producer, engineer, or artist

Responsibilities

Offer regular feedback and suggestions on difficulty, fun factor, design, and general playability
Regular testing of various features and mechanics throughout the game
Identify defects and playability issues and report them in a clear and concise manner
Follow, maintain, and create test plans to guide in coverage and planning
Reproduce issues and test fixes for engineers and producers
Work closely with the development team to help bring the game to the next level
Learn, grow, and evolve with the other members of the team as we strive to make a fun and unique NBA 2K experience each year
