Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field, and ideally have 3-5 years of experience in corporate governance, secretarial services, or a similar role. Strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently are essential.

Responsibilities

The Fund Board Governance - Associate will be responsible for supporting the Fund Board Governance team by crafting agendas, preparing and distributing Board packs, completing matters arising and minutes, and monitoring Board delegations policies. They will also assist in ensuring that all terms of reference are reviewed and updated, build and maintain excellent relationships with Board members, manage shareholder meetings, ensure submissions are of a high standard, update company records, support the governance framework, proactively develop and improve processes, and provide input to the business and directors on governance matters, all while ensuring the highest level of corporate governance is applied to all BlackRock companies.
