Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Shift4 products, services, merchant services, troubleshooting, compliance, and best practices
  • Proficiency in instructional design methodologies and applications such as Camtasia, Articulate Rise 360, Articulate Storyline, or other course authoring tools
  • Ability to collaborate closely with Support, Operations, Learning & Development, Knowledge Content teams, Knowledge Specialists, management, and technical developers
  • Professional demeanor and leadership skills to represent Shift4 positively in training and workplace environments

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver advanced training sessions and workshops using effective instructional design methodologies to empower agents and merchants to resolve issues and optimize payment processing
  • Design and lead simulation and lab-based functionality and troubleshooting exercises for hands-on learner experiences
  • Provide professional representation of Shift4 to employees, demonstrating leadership and a positive tone in classroom and workplace settings
  • Curate, update, and maintain training curriculums and assignments with regular updates to key stakeholders every 2-3 business days, covering products, procedures, troubleshooting, compliance, and best practices
  • Create and maintain knowledge assessment and advancement procedures to validate learning objectives and use of knowledge-based resources
  • Collaborate with Knowledge Specialists, management, and technical developers to update procedures and ensure accuracy/relevance in training materials and knowledge content
  • Focus on process improvements within training curriculums for efficiency and organizational excellence
  • Utilize instructional design applications to create advanced learning modules, including videos, eLearning courses, and software simulations
  • Incorporate mixed media (graphics, animation, text, audio, video) into engaging, interactive online training solutions
  • Receive and review learner feedback to improve content creation
  • Work closely with mentoring management to provide feedback and transition learners to successful performance
