Candidates must be a US Citizen and able to obtain a low-level security clearance, possessing a Bachelor’s degree, and demonstrating at least 3 years of experience with a Rails backend, 3+ years of experience with a front-end JS framework (preferably React), and strong experience with Python. Expertise in designing, developing, coding, testing, and debugging user interfaces and web application components is also required, alongside strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences and experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
The Full Stack Engineer will work hand in hand with other engineers to build interfaces that match designs, consuming and creating data from the backend, and communicating architecture choices to team members. They will contribute to driving the direction and format of data endpoints. The role involves writing code that is easily understood by other engineers, and working within an Agile/Scrum environment with sprints and daily stand-ups, ultimately supporting a pivotal Federal program impacting millions of Americans’ daily lives.
