Requirements

  • Previous experience working with children
  • Experience with autism or other intellectual disabilities strongly preferred
  • Availability to work one of two full-time schedules: 8am-4pm or 11am-7pm, Monday through Friday
  • High School diploma; College degree preferred
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Willingness to commute to and from client homes and/or clinics within 30 minutes in each direction to provide services
  • Motivation and commitment to become a Registered Behavior Technician within 90 days of employment via the training program
  • Ability and willingness to assist clients with toilet training/needs

Responsibilities

  • Work one-on-one with children to implement goals written and overseen by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Help children acquire new skills using science-based teaching procedures
  • Create exciting, fun, and motivating learning environments
  • Provide feedback and collect data related to each client's program
