Full Stack JavaScript Software Engineer

Position Overview

ClickHouse is seeking exceptional Full Stack JavaScript Software Engineers to join our Control Plane engineering teams. These teams are responsible for building the billing platform behind ClickHouse Cloud, the SQL Console for the ClickHouse interface, and all internal and external ClickHouse UI dashboards. About the Team

Our Control Plane engineering teams are building critical components of ClickHouse Cloud, including the billing platform, the SQL Console, and UI dashboards. We are looking for talented full stack JavaScript engineers who can contribute to both frontend and backend development, integrating with diverse external systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure our customer-facing products are reliable, scalable, private, secure, and observable, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Build ClickHouse Cloud interfaces, dashboards, and consoles.
• Design and build mission-critical processes that ensure operational continuity.
• Create with purpose, providing rationale for technical decisions to effectively present solutions to peers and stakeholders.
• Deliver secure, efficient, mature, and highly available frameworks and platforms that abstract away infrastructure complexity.
• Partner with multi-disciplinary teams to define business strategies, user needs, and optimal solutions.
• Integrate with a variety of systems, including Billing, Metering, Logging, Monitoring, and Support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience building front-end systems running on the cloud.
• Full Stack coding experience with React, TypeScript, Serverless, and Node.js (proficiency in multiple languages is encouraged).
• Experience leading and shipping large-scope technical projects in collaboration with experienced engineers.
• Full-cycle developer with strong ownership of code quality and experience building and operating high-scale, distributed systems across the full software lifecycle.
• Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and their Infrastructure as a Service offerings.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within and across engineering teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and solid production debugging capabilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and act as a business partner to drive progress.
• High level of responsibility, ownership, and accountability.
