Requirements

At least 3+ years of experience as a software engineer using Java or other JVM based languages (Familiarity with Spring Boot is a plus)
Python knowledge is a plus
Knowledge of (or interest in learning) developing and operating large scale distributed systems, microservices, or other data processing systems (Databricks knowledge is a plus)
Advocate for agile processes, operational excellence, and coding best practices such as clean code, readability, and test-driven development
Some experience with (or willingness to learn) Typescript and React Native

Responsibilities

Join an agile and seasoned full-stack engineering team dedicated to data collection and processing to generate business insights
Ensure a state-of-the-art software development methodology
Contribute to the design, building, and maintenance of a large-scale distributed system using technologies like Java, Python, Apache Flink, Nakadi, and Kubernetes
Collaborate with client engineering teams using technologies such as React Native, Typescript, and Node.js (end-to-end ownership of data pipelines)
Collaborate with different engineering, ML, and analytical teams and individual stakeholders to build and continuously improve data products for various business needs
