Requirements

Candidates should have professional experience maintaining production services and working directly with non-technical stakeholders, reporting to non-technical leadership. Experience with any popular cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Salt, along with container orchestration technologies, is required. Proficiency in modern programming languages such as TypeScript, Python, or Go is necessary, as are excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Experience reviewing code, a self-starter mindset with the ability to context-switch, and a prototype/rapid iteration mentality are also essential. The ability to create tutorials, guides, and documentation is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Full Stack Engineer will collaborate with venture leadership teams to design, prototype, and launch initial product versions, working from problem identification to product launch. Responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining cloud services and user-facing web applications in production, and independently scoping and leading technical initiatives for early-stage products. The role involves contributing to the product roadmap, setting venture vision and strategy, and acting as a sounding board for leadership. Engineers will develop and execute roadmaps, make tradeoffs considering business priorities and user experience, and drive alignment with non-technical stakeholders for technical deliverables.
