Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience designing, building, and deploying sophisticated web applications.
- Testing: Experience with tools for testing and a commitment to demonstrating code functionality rather than relying solely on QA.
- Communication: Strong written communication skills.
- Curiosity & Learning: A curiosity and interest in teaching and learning from colleagues.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and own new modules for the flagship product (e.g., payments, reputation, authentication).
- Contribute to the creation of standards and culture within the company.
- Develop software in a thoughtful way, considering bug prevention, testability, and maintainability.
- Utilize data-driven product design, relying on evidence rather than opinion.
Optionally Preferred Skills
- Experience with modern UI frameworks, web standards, and web development best practices.
- Detailed understanding of data model design for relational databases.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure for deploying reliable and scalable web applications.
- Experience building authentication flows and/or secure APIs.
