Requirements

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in applied computer sciences, applied informatics, or a related field
At least 5 years of professional experience in Java/JEE full-stack development technologies and tools
Strong experience with Angular for front-end development
Experience designing and developing applications using Java/J2EE technologies and tools (e.g., Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, Spring, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, Maven, Docker)
Hands-on experience with Cucumber for BDD
In-depth knowledge of container platforms and Docker
Experience developing cloud-native applications
Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines
Experience creating technical designs and leading technical designers
Understanding of event-driven architectures
Minimum of 2 years of experience with large business-critical applications
Proven track record working in Agile development environments
Experience with modern development practices such as Agile, CI/CD, and Domain Driven Design
Fluent in Dutch (oral and written) and English

Responsibilities

Deliver assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of application development projects, including installing/updating applications, configuration, testing, and programming for assigned modules
Work under supervision of Technical Lead/Project Manager or Senior Developer to accomplish tasks, contribute to designs for specific deliverables, and assist in developing technical solutions
Perform design, development, and testing using Java/J2EE technologies
Maintain a rigorous software build and testing framework for continuous building/testing, and track failed builds or issues
Prepare software technical documentation based on functional documentation and specifications, accounting for functional and technical requirements
Participate as part of a team in a fast-growing division with an entrepreneurial, professional, teamwork, and innovation culture
Maintain good relationships with team members and customers
Work in an international environment using a broad set of technologies and frameworks
