  • Familiarity with ASC regulations, CMS conditions for coverage, state regulations, and accrediting agency standards
  • Ability to review business finances, financial reports, market trends, staffing models, inventory, and expenses
  • Engagement skills with sales partners for market development and business opportunities
  • Oversight of front desk processes, scheduling, patient follow-up, and data integrity

Responsibilities

  • Lead the clinical facility to meet all clinical, operational, and business objectives
  • Make daily decisions for patient and staff safety, delegating tasks to nursing leader as appropriate
  • Develop a culture of trust, empowerment, and collaboration among center staff
  • Ensure compliance with governmental or regulatory body requirements
  • Assist Medical Staff to meet applicable medical standards
  • Provide clinical reporting to ASC Governing Body and oversee operations
  • Manage employees, environment, clinical processes, procedures, and workflow for high-quality patient care
  • Implement and maintain Environment of Care requirements for patient safety and NFPA 101
  • Plan and ensure maintenance of equipment for medical emergencies
  • Oversee medical records management and HIPAA compliance
  • Oversee continuous Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement Program, including data analysis
  • Develop facility-specific action plans using internal tools and external feedback to achieve quality standards
  • Manage general liability and risk exposures through assessments and center-specific plans
  • Ensure adverse events are reported, documented, and followed up per policy and state requirements
  • Ensure effective communication with patients, dialysis clinics, hospitals, and physicians
  • Participate in Governing Body Meetings, including coordination, documentation, and minutes
  • Provide support to Medical Executive Committee per Medical Director requests and bylaws
  • Maintain compliance with ASC, CMS, state, and accrediting standards
  • Review business finances, market trends, staffing, inventory, expenses, and workflow optimization
  • Engage with sales partner to develop new markets and business opportunities
  • Oversee front desk staff for processes, scheduling, patient follow-up, and data integrity
  • Ensure staff meet customer service standards
  • Collaborate with ancillary departments for center-specific and company-wide goals
  • Visit local dialysis clinics with Sales Partner to provide information on vascular access services
  • Create and enhance internal physician partnerships for patient care and business outcomes
  • Act as liaison between local dialysis clinics, Access Center, and physicians
