Responsibilities

Complete successful training and qualification in an 8-week period for entry-level, non-skilled general labor roles while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures
Machine Feeder: Place product correctly onto conveyor belt feeding into machine; test machinery periodically; keep records of machine testing and failures
Wing Cutter: Remove wings from breast frame with minimal breast meat left on wing; grade off bad wings; place good wings on conveyor belt
Breast Trimmer: Remove boneless breast fillets from conveyor; trim bones, skin, and cartilage; place fillet back on conveyor
Breast Puller: Manually remove breast meat from frame using grasp, pull, and knife; inspect butterfly and frame; trim bones or place filet for further inspection as needed
Shoulder Cutter: Cut front half at shoulder joint to standard (clean pulley and scapula bones, eye meat removed); pull shoulder to appropriate length
Utility Labor: Maintain product flow and supply of supplies; fill in for various line positions/tasks as needed
Tender Scorer/Puller: Cut breast tenderloin from breast shell without cutting into tender; remove any bones from tenderloin
Cone Stabber: Place front halves on debone cones correctly without missing, dropping, damaging ribs, or splitting keel bones
Backup Labor: Perform other duties as tasked by administration
