Requirements
The ideal candidate must be a native Telugu speaker with C1+ level English proficiency, possessing 1-3 years of experience in subtitling, translation, dubbing translation/dubbing script creation, quality control, or another integral part of the localization process. They should demonstrate a passion for their native language and culture, including expert knowledge of lingo, slang, cultural references, and sensitivities, along with strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
As a Telugu Subtitler, the candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering Telugu subtitles for MrBeast YouTube videos, handling all steps of the subtitling process and ensuring prompt delivery to the Language Coordinator. They will also receive feedback from the Language Coordinator and implement revisions, assist in creating localized metadata, maintain clear communication with collaborators, and build familiarity with the Beast brand. Additionally, they will coordinate localization tasks, auxiliary translate materials, and standardize localized deliverables.
