Requirements

  • Proven track record of defining and delivering fraud prevention strategies across first party fraud, third party fraud, Authorised Pushed Payment fraud, and Account Takeover
  • Experience working in financial services or consultancy, with deep expertise in fraud detection and prevention
  • Strong analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver exceptional fraud prevention strategies that protect customers and Zopa, balancing security with seamless customer experience
  • Build and maintain the fraud risk framework, ensuring staying within fraud budget while supporting business growth
  • Act as Zopa's fraud subject matter expert, advising stakeholders on emerging trends, regulatory changes, and industry best practices
  • Support the business in the rollout of new products/processes
  • Partner with Product, Tech, Operations, and Risk teams across First and Second Lines of Defence to embed fraud prevention and detection into everything built
  • Transform fraud insights into actionable strategies, working with data to identify best-in-class fraud strategies and create enhanced controls
  • Champion industry collaboration, building and maintaining strong networks and partnerships to keep Zopa at the forefront of fraud prevention
  • Deep dive into fraud performance across all products, identifying risks and opportunities for enhancement
  • Conduct root cause analysis to uncover emerging threats and drive continuous improvement
  • Develop roadmaps for control enhancements and oversee their delivery
  • Ensure fraud strategies and controls meet current and future regulatory requirements, including accurate submission of regulatory reporting
