Requirements

Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience in machine learning and optimization algorithm development. Proficiency in implementing and fine-tuning deterministic algorithms and stochastic models is required, along with hands-on experience using PyTorch for machine learning development. Strong skills in building and managing data pipelines for large-scale data processing and familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases are necessary. Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency in deploying ML models in production environments with a focus on scalability and reliability, as well as a solid understanding of microservices architecture and API development. Expertise in GenAI tools, such as vector databases and LLM chaining, is a bonus.

Responsibilities

The Founding Research Engineer will develop and refine optimization models and machine learning algorithms to solve complex supply chain and inventory challenges. They will build, debug, and optimize machine learning prototypes using PyTorch and transform these prototypes into production-ready, scalable solutions. Additionally, the engineer will implement robust data pipelines to process large datasets efficiently and ensure data readiness for high-impact modeling and decision-making processes.
