Requirements
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree. Preferred: Advanced Degree (MSc. Degree, DVM, or Ph.D.) with a focus in Animal Science, Nutrition, Microbiology, or Immunology
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in feed additive or animal health account management in the commercial livestock industry
Preferred: 10+ years’ experience in feed additive or animal health account management in the commercial livestock industry
Understanding of the impacts of additives on the health and performance
Track record of presenting complex technology and concepts in a clear and succinct manner
Previous supervisory experience
Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and SalesForce
Responsibilities
Drive sales growth with assigned accounts and overall Fortiva additives across all channels
Develop and execute account growth plans, including sales forecasting, producer meetings, and support programs
Leverage resources, cultivate relationships, and grow networks to identify opportunities for additive sales
Contribute to the innovation and marketing pipelines by providing customer insights
Maintain a high level of proficiency and competency in nutrition, production management, and selling skills through recommended training and documented sales results
Collaborate in conducting producer events that promote best practices for additive technologies, including proof field trials demonstrating product efficacy
Collaborate with Fortiva leadership to execute sales strategy
Manage and oversee day-to-day sales team activities
Provide field assistance and sales training as needed
Engage in industry-related events to generate additional awareness for Land O’Lakes Fortiva Additives
Perform other duties and assume other responsibilities as assigned or requested
