Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
  • Ability to lift and manipulate up to 40 pounds unassisted
  • Ability to stand and move about for full shift, including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping
  • Ability to use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, pulling, and repetitive motion
  • Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety standards
  • Compliance with cleanroom requirements: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair
  • Ability to use PPE (e.g., safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, hair/beard net, face cover)
  • Understanding of chemical hygiene, including labels and SDS for chemicals like disinfectants, solvents, and IPA
  • Reliable and punctual attendance

Responsibilities

  • Manufacture products as delegated by the Production Team Supervisor or Team Leader
  • Complete lab operations with automated systems (e.g., DNA/RNA synthesizers, liquid handlers) and analytical instrumentation (e.g., HPLC, LCMS)
  • Report metrics to the team leader during daily Tier Meetings
  • Address and report problems and propose effective countermeasures
  • Follow written SOPs and batch records, and revise as needed
  • Perform manufacturing/production tasks as scheduled
  • Handle and work with biological and chemical reagents
  • Maintain quality service by established organization standards
  • Coordinate and prioritize work to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate effectively with other production staff
