Requirements

At least 6 months of warehouse operations experience
At least 6 months of stand-up forklift and/or cherry/order picker experience OR a current Caterpillar Sanford forklift license
Ability to obtain and maintain Forklift Certification through proven operation of equipment
Physical ability to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 35 pounds for intervals of 15-30 minutes (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Physical ability to work at heights of up to 20 feet from the floor (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Physical ability to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures (with or without reasonable accommodation)
Physical ability to walk, squat, and bend over for intervals of 15-30 minutes (with or without reasonable accommodation)

Responsibilities

Locate and move products to storage or the assembly line in a safe and timely manner
Inspect and perform regular maintenance to forklift as necessary
Use RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
Rotate to various positions within the Job Function area to perform related activities
Follow and utilize CPS principles of 5S, Continuous Improvement Idea Reporting, Waste Elimination, and Standard Work
Investigate and resolve receiving discrepancies and notify appropriate personnel of results or required actions
Identify damaged material and report shortages or quality deficiencies
Identify and correct or report safety hazards in the work area
Ensure grief and receiving processes and procedures are updated and communicated
