Didactic learning from pharmacy school
Readiness to complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days under direction of preceptor and District Leader

Responsibilities

Apply pharmacy school learning to real-world practice under supervision
Deepen understanding of patient safety, error prevention, quality assurance, drug utilization review (DUR), corresponding responsibility, and red flag detection
Assist pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations, prompt, safe, and accurate prescription fulfillment, and caring service exceeding patient expectations
Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), best practices, and effective communication
Demonstrate empathy, genuine care, and contribute to a safe, inclusive culture
Follow company SOPs at each workstation to support Pharmacists and Technicians
Adhere to pharmacy workflow procedures at workstations (production, pick-up, drive-thru, drop-off) for safe, accurate prescription fulfillment
Contribute to positive patient experiences with empathy, personalized moments, immunizations, services at register/phone, and problem-solving/escalation
Offer counseling, field medical questions, solicit medical history under direct supervision of licensed pharmacist
Take telephonic prescriptions from prescribers, clarify prescriptions, facilitate medication changes where allowed by state regulation
Provide in-the-moment coaching, training, mentoring to team members and share best practices
Complete basic inventory activities (put away deliveries, cycle counts, returns-to-stock, waiting bin inventories) as permitted by law and directed by leadership
Embrace growth mindset and contribute to high-performing team
