Requirements

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Translation Studies, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience, along with a minimum of two years of professional translation/interpretation experience. Native or near-native fluency in either Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese is required, accompanied by professional fluency in English. Prior experience in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or medical call centers is preferred, and certification from recognized translation organizations such as ATA or NAJIT is a plus. Familiarity with CRM systems and computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools is also beneficial.

Responsibilities

The Bilingual Translator & Interpreter will provide simultaneous and consecutive interpretation during live calls between Spanish, Mandarin, or Vietnamese and English speakers, translate written materials including product information and customer correspondence, support pharmacy customers by answering inquiries and explaining prescription services, collaborate with pharmacists and medical professionals to ensure clarity, document translation activities and customer interactions, review translated materials for accuracy, and participate in quality assurance reviews.
