Responsibilities

Process cash register transactions, giving back change and refunds
Learn to use register, scales, scanners, and debit/credit terminals
Learn to use UPC codes, store signage, and memorize register keys and codes
Learn and work with deli ingredients (meat, vegetables, fruits, spices, nuts, sauces, oils)
Use scale printer machines to ensure accurate weights and pricing
Monitor product pricing, signage, and placement, utilizing shelf tags and signage
Maintain a clean and orderly check stand/sales counter
