Requirements

  • Experience working in hotel, hospitality, vacation or similar industry highly preferred
  • 1-2 years experience in the food and beverage industry with both front and back of the house experience
  • 1 year minimum experience in supervisory or management level position in a similar industry
  • Basic knowledge of small appliances, kitchen tools and kitchen equipment including inventory and rotation of food
  • Experience with cash handling, counting and moderate calculations required
  • Basic technical computer skills required on all forms of hardware - laptops, tablets and mobile devices
  • Servsafe and "TIPS" certified a plus
  • Dependable and prepared, showing up on time and ready to go
  • Must be dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
  • Comfortable talking to people—online or in person—and able to share information clearly and thoughtfully, representing the company positively
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Ability to move freely (balancing, climbing, crawling, driving, etc.)
  • Flexibility for schedules including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and workflow management to optimize team productivity and meet departmental objectives
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency and quality outcomes
  • Foster a collaborative work environment that promotes open communication, innovation, and employee engagement
  • Address team conflicts constructively and in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with all food handling processes and kitchen safety standards
  • Provide cross-coverage for the manager and team when necessary, including stepping into roles of Server, Cook, Bartender, and Manager
  • Control all beer, liquor, and wine inventories
  • Ensure that all company policies and procedures are followed by employees
  • Assist in counting monthly inventory for all locations/outlets
  • Other duties as assigned
