A High School diploma or GED is required, with 1–2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of medium/heavy-duty transportation equipment preferred. A valid state driver’s license is required, and CDL is a plus.
Strong troubleshooting skills, ability to read and interpret vehicle schematics and service manuals, knowledge of DOT and FMCSA regulations, and familiarity with hand and power tools including hydraulic jacks and pneumatic tools are essential. Basic knowledge of computer systems and Microsoft systems is also required.
The position requires a 40 hour work week with Saturday shifts and opportunity for overtime when necessary to support the operation.
The role requires the ability to lift, move, push, pull, and carry materials and components weighing up to 50 lbs unassisted.
Candidates with 1–2 years of experience in medium/heavy-duty vehicle maintenance, a CDL, knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations, strong troubleshooting skills, and a positive team-oriented attitude will stand out.
